SINDBAD THE SAILOR

He was much alarmed when he saw me; but recovering himself, instead of inquiring how I came thither, began to quarrel with me, and asked why I stole his goods .. → La signification of (نَهَر) ..

Es dauerte nicht lange, so kamen mehrere Adler herbeigesegelt, und einer ergriff mein Stück Fleisch und trug mich in sein Nest, von wo mir jene Händler hinabfallen, überrascht und sogar empört*, statt einiger der erhofften Diamanten einen Menschen an diesem Köder kleben zu finden; .. (sich gegen jemanden empören*) → (نَهَر) .. doch beschwichtigte ich sie, indem ich ihnen meine Geschichte erzählte und ihnen etliche meiner Diamanten, mehr als sie hatten erwarten können, schenkte .. 

"You will treat me," replied I, "with more civility when you know me better. Do not be uneasy; I have diamonds enough for you and myself, more than all the other merchants together. Whatever they have they owe to chance; but I selected for myself, in the bottom of the valley, those which you see in this bag." ..

.. L' aigle avait à peine atteint son but que les marchands s'approchèrent: l' un d'eux m'apercut, à son grand effroi, puis m'empoigna* croyant que j'étais là pour lui voler ses diamants. .. (m'empoigna*)  → (نَهَر) .. —Vous feriez mieux de me demander comment il se fait qu'un pauvre malheureux ait pu se trouver dans un nid d'aigle! m'exlamai-je —Rassurez-vous! dis-je ensuite, ouvrant ma bourse et la montrant à ces individus, je possède plus de diamants pour vous et pour moi que vous tous ensemble.
En outre c'est au hasard que vous devez les vôtres, tandis que les miens ont été ramassés par moi-même, au fond de la vallée .. Ce fut alors un assaut de questions de la part des marchands qui n'arrivaient pas à se convaincre de mon étrange aventure, et il m'aurait fallu au moins une douzaine de langues pour satisfaire en une seule fois leur curiosité. Ils m'accompagnèrent ensuite à la case qu'ils habitaient en commun, ou je leur fis part de mon trésor avec une telle libéralité qu'ils m'embrassaient en jubilant et dans leurs reconnaissance m'appelaient ami et frère .. (ami et frère) infer the contrary of (نَهَر) ..
